A WooCommerce Developer in the Philippines Who Also Runs the Server

Every peso of the sale stays yours: no platform commission, no per-order cut, no plugin subscription you did not choose.

A WooCommerce developer in the Philippines is really doing two jobs: the store, and the stack underneath it.

Checkout · live

An animated online store checkout: a product is added to a cart, paid with GCash, and confirmed with an order number.

A store that takes the order and the payment while you are asleep.

What's included

01

Custom plugins instead of plugin sprawl

One small plugin written for your workflow usually replaces three or four paid ones, and every plugin you do not install is an update that cannot break your checkout on a Friday night. The code is yours, documented, and it carries no licence renewal.

02

A checkout shaped like a Philippine address

House and street, barangay, city, province and ZIP — not a US form with a State dropdown and a required company field. Guest checkout on, fields your buyers do not need switched off, and COD offered or hidden per zone and per order value.

03

Speed that holds up at 2,000 SKUs

WooCommerce gets heavy fast. Object caching, page caching that knows to skip the cart, image sizes generated properly, product queries cleaned up and a database that gets pruned. We measure load time on mobile data before and after, and show you both numbers.

04

Product data your team can bulk-edit

CSV import and export that actually round-trips, bulk price and stock changes, variation management that does not take an afternoon, and user roles so a staff member can add products without reaching your payment settings.

05

Maintenance that is genuinely done

Core, theme and plugin updates applied on staging first, daily backups you can restore from, malware scanning, uptime monitoring and PHP version upgrades handled before they become an outage. This is the part that kills unmaintained WooCommerce stores.

06

A free lifetime AI assistant that is not another plugin

It runs outside your WordPress install, so it adds nothing to the plugin count you just spent a week cutting down, nothing to your page weight, and nothing to the list of things that can conflict at checkout. It answers stock, sizing and delivery questions day and night, and there is no licence to renew.

How we work

  1. STEP 1

Audit what exists, or scope what will

For an existing store: a plugin inventory, a speed baseline, a security check and an honest verdict on repair versus rebuild. For a new one: catalogue size, workflows and the integrations you will need.

You get: A written scope, plugin inventory and speed baseline

  2. STEP 2

Redraw the theme's checkout, not just its colours

Most WooCommerce stores inherit whatever form the theme shipped with, US State dropdown and all. We redraw it around a Philippine address, drop the fields your buyers never fill, and settle which template parts the child theme will override.

You get: An approved checkout layout and a child-theme override list

  3. STEP 3

Build the theme and write the plugins

A child theme or custom build, plus the small purpose-written plugins that replace the subscriptions. Everything is code you own and can hand to any other developer.

You get: A staging store, with source code that is yours

  4. STEP 4

Payments, shipping and a load test

GCash, Maya, cards and COD proven with live test orders, shipping zones and weight bands loaded, then the catalogue imported at full size to see how the store behaves under real weight.

You get: Test orders through every method plus a speed report

  5. STEP 5

    Launch, patch, and keep patching

You go live on VenderIT Cloud with backups, monitoring and staged updates running. WordPress stores fail from neglect, not from age, so the maintenance is the deliverable.

You get: A live store, backups and monitoring, 1-year support and warranty

Ask us directly

Usually, and the crossover is order volume. WooCommerce charges nothing per sale, so your running cost is hosting — free with us for the first year, then from ₱499 a month — plus maintenance. Shopify charges a monthly plan in US dollars plus an extra platform fee on third-party gateways, and both scale with how much you sell. At a few orders a week the difference is small. At a few hundred a month it is not. We model your real numbers first.

Fewer than you have been sold. Every plugin is another update to test, another security surface and another thing that can conflict at checkout, and paid ones renew annually whether you use them or not. We audit what is installed, remove overlap, and write one small custom plugin where three paid ones were doing one job. Stores we maintain typically run a fraction of the plugin count they arrived with, and break far less often.

It is slow when nobody manages it, and that is fixable. The usual culprits are shared hosting, uncompressed images, a bloated theme, too many plugins and uncached product queries. We host on VenderIT Cloud, add object and page caching that knows to skip cart and checkout, generate proper image sizes, prune the database and clean up the queries. You get a before-and-after load time measured on mobile data, not a lab score.

Yes, and often the answer is repair rather than rebuild. We need admin access and hosting or server access, then we run an audit covering plugins, theme edits, PHP version, backups, security and speed, and come back with a written verdict and a price. If the store is sound underneath, fixing it costs a fraction of ₱99,000. If it is held together by twenty plugins and edited core files, we will say so.

Through a gateway plugin — PayMongo, Dragonpay or Maya Business — which puts GCash, Maya, cards, online banking and over-the-counter into your checkout. You apply for a merchant account with your DTI or SEC registration, BIR certificate, mayor's permit and bank details; we handle the technical requirements the gateway checks and the integration itself. The gateway's per-transaction fee is charged by them and never passes through us.

We do, for your first year, and it is included rather than billed per incident. Updates go onto staging first, get clicked through on the checkout path, then go live — which is how you avoid the classic story of a plugin update taking payments down overnight. Daily backups and uptime monitoring run alongside. After year one it continues under a maintenance plan, or you can take it in-house with the documentation we hand over.

Yes to both. The theme, any custom plugins we write, your content and your database are yours, and WooCommerce itself is open source, so there is no licence tied to us. If you ever want to leave VenderIT Cloud we export the site and hand it over. We would rather earn the renewal than hold your store hostage for it.
