VCMart.PH: three very different catalogues, one marketplace

One marketplace carrying automotive parts, property listings and hardware, all on an enquire-for-price flow.

VCMart.PH does not sell one thing. It carries automotive parts from branded suppliers, on-demand property — condos and residences listed by city — and hardware items across carpentry, electrical, masonry and tiles.

Multi-category marketplace with enquiry-based pricing

The brief

A parts supplier, a property developer and a hardware wholesaler have almost nothing in common except that their buyers all start by searching. Building three separate sites would have split the traffic and tripled the admin. But a single catalogue only works if it stops pretending every item is a retail SKU with a fixed price and an add-to-cart button — because in Philippine B2B supply, the price is the conversation. VCMart.PH needed one platform that could hold all three categories without flattening what makes each one different.

What we built

  • Built one search layer over three category trees, so a buyer never has to know which sub-site their item lives in.
  • Kept each category's own shape: parts browse by supplier brand, property browses by city, hardware browses by trade.
  • Replaced checkout with Inquire for Pricing wherever the real price depends on volume, spec or delivery — which is most of the catalogue.
  • Gave every enquiry the item attached, so a supplier answers a specific request rather than 'how much is the plywood'.
  • Shipped an admin panel where categories, suppliers, listings and incoming enquiries are managed in one queue.

Inside the platform

01

Search across every category

One box over automotive, property and hardware. The buyer searches for what they need; the platform works out which catalogue it lives in.

02

Automotive parts by supplier

Branded suppliers get their own storefront within the marketplace, so a buyer who trusts a brand can shop it directly.

03

Property and on-demand listings

Condos and residences organised by city, sitting alongside the trade catalogues rather than on a separate site nobody finds.

04

Hardware by trade

Carpentry, electrical, masonry and tiles as first-class categories, matching how a foreman actually shops for a job.

05

Inquire for Pricing

The enquiry flow that fits B2B: the buyer sends a specific request against a specific item, and the supplier quotes against real volume.

06

One admin panel for three catalogues

Categories, suppliers, listings and enquiries in a single back office. Adding a new trade category does not mean building a new site.

About this project

Ask us about it

Yes, provided each category keeps its own browsing shape. VCMart.PH browses parts by supplier brand, property by city and hardware by trade, because those are the three different ways those buyers think. What they share is the search box, the enquiry flow and the admin panel. Forcing all three into one identical grid is what makes multi-category marketplaces fail.

Because in trade supply the price is not a number, it is a function of volume, specification and delivery. An Inquire for Pricing flow lets the buyer be precise about what they want and lets the supplier quote against reality. Every VenderIT build supports online and offline payments too, so you can add checkout for the SKUs where a fixed price genuinely applies.

A multi-category marketplace with supplier storefronts and an enquiry engine is a Business build at ₱199,000, delivered in about 15 working days once we have your catalogue data. Unlimited listings and unlimited users are included, so onboarding more suppliers does not change your bill.

Yes. Each supplier can be given access to their own storefront to publish and update stock, with your admin retaining approval and takedown control over everything. If you would rather run the catalogue centrally, the same build works with listings managed entirely by your team.

They arrive with the item attached and land in one queue in the admin panel, so nobody has to reconstruct what a buyer meant. Connect it to a CRM and each enquiry becomes a tracked deal with an owner and a next step, which is the difference between a marketplace that generates leads and one that loses them.
