Anna Cay: a creator's own app for make-up reviews and daily looks

A beauty creator's own app: a make-up reviews section, a look grid and a lifestyle mosaic feed.

Anna Cay is a beauty and lifestyle creator, and #TeamAnnaCay is her own app rather than another feed inside someone else's.

The brief

A creator's work usually sits on platforms that decide who sees it and when, and a make-up review ends up as a caption that scrolls away by the weekend. #TeamAnnaCay is the version that does not. The reviews get a named section of their own instead of a hashtag. The looks sit in a grid that can be browsed on purpose rather than scrolled past. The beauty and lifestyle posts run as a mosaic that gives a portrait and a flat-lay different amounts of room, and a post about a specific product can carry the product's own details on the tile. The home screen leads with one label and one photo, so the app opens on a section rather than an endless scroll.

What we built

  • Opened the app on a full-bleed fashion photo in yellow with a single large Messages label across it, and carried that yellow and pink through to the panel beneath and the pink header on the Instagram screen.
  • Gave the make-up reviews a named section of their own, so the thing the app is advertised on is not buried under everything else.
  • Built the Instagram screen as a photo grid under a pink header with a back control, so the looks are one step from the home screen and can be scanned in a single pass.
  • Laid the beauty and lifestyle content out as a mosaic of tiles at different sizes, so a portrait, a flat-lay and an event shot each get the room they need.
  • Let a feed tile carry a full product listing — headline, source, description, star rating, price and stock — for the posts that are about one specific product.

Inside the platform

01

Her own branded app

#TeamAnnaCay as an installed iPhone app in her own yellow and pink, rather than a page on someone else's platform or a link in a bio.

02

A Messages label on the home screen

The landing screen is a full-bleed fashion photo on yellow with one large Messages label across it, and a pink photo panel beneath — one section at a time, not a wall of navigation.

03

Exclusive make-up reviews

The section the app is led with: make-up reviews kept inside the app. That is what gives an installed app something to be installed for, rather than another feed to follow.

04

Instagram looks as a grid

An Instagram screen under a pink header with a back control, laying the looks out as a masonry photo grid so a day's outfit ideas can be scanned in one screen instead of scrolled past.

05

Beauty and lifestyle mosaic feed

Tips and posts as a mosaic — salon and event shots, flat-lays, portraits — at different tile sizes, so the feed does not force every post into the same square.

06

Product detail on a feed tile

One tile in the feed carries a full product listing: a linked headline, the source page beneath it, a short description, a star rating out of five with a review count, a price and an In stock label, with the product photo alongside.

Questions

About this project

Ask us about it

Yes. A creator app of this shape — a message section, a reviews section, a look grid and a content feed — is a Pro build at ₱149,000, live in about 10 working days, and that includes a branded Android app. If you want a store or bookings inside it as well, that is the Business build at ₱199,000 in about 15 working days.

Not a huge one, but you do need an audience that already comes back. An app is for the people who would install you on purpose — the ones who watch every review, not the ones who scroll past. If your following is still being built, a website and social work is the cheaper first step, and we will say so rather than sell you an app.

You post it. Every VenderIT build includes an admin panel and CMS, so you add a post, upload the photo and publish it yourself from a browser. Training and documentation come with the build, and you get one year of support if something breaks.

Yes. The feed here already carries product detail on a tile — headline, description, rating, price, stock — so putting a cart and a checkout behind that is a short step rather than a second project. Every build includes online and offline payment options and unlimited listings.

Both, if you want both. The screens here are the iPhone build, and the Pro and Business packages include a branded Android app so your audience is not split by the phone they carry. Free cloud hosting and the free lifetime 24/7 AI assistant come with either.
