Farron Cafe: a loyalty app that gets the second cup ordered

A branded café app that carries exclusive offers and a points card customers actually redeem.

A café's hardest sale is not the first cup, it is the fourth. Farron Cafe wanted a way to reach the people who already like the coffee without paying for the reach every time.

The brief

Loyalty in Philippine cafés usually means a stamped card. It gets lost, it gets forged, and it tells the owner nothing: no idea who came back, how often, or which promo brought them. Meanwhile the only way to announce a new drink is a boosted post that reaches a fraction of the people who have already paid you money. Farron Cafe needed a direct line to its own regulars and a loyalty mechanic that survives contact with a real counter during a morning rush.

What we built

  • Made the points card the home screen, framed as progress toward a named reward rather than an abstract balance.
  • Kept redemption to a single scan at the counter so the queue does not stall behind a loyalty transaction.
  • Built offers as mobile-exclusive, giving customers a concrete reason to keep the app installed rather than uninstall it after one visit.
  • Added campaign screens for anniversaries and seasonal promos so the café can run a push without paying for reach.
  • Put an admin panel behind it where staff set the reward threshold, publish coupons and see what was redeemed.

Inside the platform

01

Digital loyalty points card

Points collect toward a named reward — collect enough and it is one free tall frappe. Customers can see how close they are, which is the entire point.

02

Mobile-exclusive offers

Deals that exist only in the app. That is the trade: the customer keeps it installed, the café gets a channel it does not have to rent.

03

Coupons customers can redeem

Issued in-app, scanned at the counter, marked used. No printed vouchers, no arguments about whether one has already been claimed.

04

Anniversary and seasonal campaigns

Promo screens built for the moments a café actually markets around — the shop's anniversary, a new seasonal drink, a slow Tuesday.

05

Branded end to end

The café's own name, colours and menu photography. It reads as Farron Cafe's app, not a white-label shell with a logo dropped in the corner.

06

Staff admin panel

Set the points threshold, publish an offer, pull a coupon, see redemptions. The manager runs it; nobody has to call us to change a promo.

Questions

About this project

Ask us about it

Yes. A branded Android app is included in the Pro package at ₱149,000 and goes live in about 10 working days alongside your website. It carries your name, colours, menu photos, offers and a loyalty points card. You do not pay a monthly per-member fee — unlimited members is part of the package.

One scan. The customer opens the app, the staff member scans, the reward is marked used. It is deliberately a single action because a loyalty step that adds fifteen seconds to every transaction gets quietly abandoned by staff within a fortnight.

Yes. The admin panel is yours: set the points threshold, publish a coupon, launch an anniversary campaign, end it early. We hand over training and documentation at launch, and the free lifetime AI assistant answers your customers' questions about how the points work so your staff do not have to.

They install it for the offers, and they keep it for the points. That is why Farron Cafe's deals are mobile-exclusive: the app has to be worth its space on a phone. We would rather build one real reason to open it than five features nobody uses.

Yes. Points follow the customer, not the branch, so a cup bought at one location counts toward a reward claimed at another. If you run several sites, the multi-branch retail system handles stock and reporting per location behind the same app.
