Philippine Wine Hub: a wine catalogue that shows the whole label

A wine shopping app where every bottle carries its vintage, size and price, with a wishlist, coupons and checkout.

Wine is a catalogue problem before it is a selling problem.

The brief

Selling wine online means answering questions a grocery listing never has to. Two bottles from the same cellar in the same year can be different wines, a 375 ML bottle sits beside a 750 ML red at a different price, and a shopper choosing between ₱1,500 and ₱2,990 wants to know exactly what separates them. A catalogue that flattens all of that into a name and a number loses the sale to a message thread. Philippine Wine Hub needed cards that carry vintage, producer, varietal and bottle size in full, real ways to cut a long wine list down, and somewhere to hold the shortlist while a customer decides.

What we built

  • Put the full label on every card — vintage, producer, varietal, bottle size and peso price — so a shopper compares bottles instead of asking what they are.
  • Built two ways in: a wine search box on the home screen and a Category shelf with See all, for people who know what they want and people who are browsing.
  • Gave the All Wines list Sort, Refine and three view modes, so a growing catalogue stays shoppable at two columns, one large card or a compact list.
  • Added a wishlist heart and a one-tap add with a quantity stepper on the card, so a bottle can be saved or added straight from the listing.
  • Ran promotions as home-screen banners — the app-only wine sale, the PH Wine Club invitation, the icewine feature — updated from the admin panel, not the app store.

Inside the platform

01

Wine search and category browsing

A Search Wines box on the home screen, a Category shelf with See all, and an Our Wines row above it. Buyers who know the bottle and buyers who are browsing both get a route in.

02

Promo banners on the home screen

The Limited Wine Sale on all wines in the app with a Shop Now button, the PH Wine Club join-now invitation pointing to philippinewinehub.com, and a Home of Canada's Best Icewine feature. Merchandising your team changes without an app release.

03

All Wines with sort, refine and view modes

The full list behind Sort and Refine controls, plus three layouts — two-column grid, one large card, or a compact list. The same catalogue works for a quick scan and a careful comparison.

04

Cards that carry the whole label

Vintage year, producer, varietal and bottle size on the title, the peso price under it, and a star rating with its review count. Nothing important is hidden a tap deeper.

05

Wishlist and quick add to cart

A heart on every card for the bottles being considered, and a plus button with a quantity stepper for the ones already decided. Both live on the listing, not behind a detail page.

06

Cart, coupon and shipping address

Line items with their own quantity steppers and a remove button, a coupon field with Apply, and a shipping address section — with Home, Shop, Wish list and Me always on the bottom bar.

Questions

About this project

Ask us about it

Yes. A catalogue app with search, filters, wishlist, cart and checkout is a Pro build at ₱149,000, live in about 10 working days, and it includes a branded Android app alongside the store. If you also need heavier back-office work, the Business build is ₱199,000 over about 15 working days.

Yes, and that is the part worth getting right. A 375 ML bottle and a 750 ML bottle are separate items with their own prices and stock, while the vintage, producer and varietal sit in the product name and its fields so buyers can search and filter on them. Listings are unlimited on every package.

Both. Every VenderIT build includes online and offline payments, so you can take card and e-wallet payments in the app and still accept cash on delivery or bank transfer for the customers who prefer it. The order looks the same to your team either way.

Yes. Home-screen banners, coupon codes and featured collections are all managed from the admin panel and CMS, so a weekend sale goes live without a developer or an app-store update. A club with sign-ups, tiers and member pricing is a scoped add-on we build on the same system.

Your team does. Every build ships with an admin panel and CMS, training and documentation, free cloud hosting, one year of support and a free lifetime 24/7 AI assistant that answers customer questions in the app. Adding a new vintage takes minutes, from Cainta or anywhere else.
